UNION TOWNSHIP, CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

A narcotics investigation by Union Township Police leads to the arrests of 39 people Tuesday.

Union Township Police with the assistance of the Clermont County SRT team executed a number of search warrants in the Piccadilly apartment complex.

Authorities say the search warrants were culminated in a three month long narcotics investigation by the Union Township Police Department Investigation Division with the assistance of the Clermont County Narcotics Unit.

Union Township Police say the investigation led to the secret indictment of 39 people totaling 131 counts for drug trafficking, permitting drug abuse and possession of drugs.

According to police, the investigation centered around the sale and usage of heroin in the Piccadilly area. 

Names of the arrested people have not been released at this time.  Once the indictments are unsealed a full report of those arrested will be released.
