According to court documents, Martin negligently caused the death of Kennedy-Palmore by making an improper left turn in to his oncoming path.

On Sept. 25, Kennedy-Palmore was struck by Martin's 2004 Honda Element while riding a motorcycle on Vine Street at Forest Avenue. Authorities said the driver had failed to yield the right-of-way when turning in to a parking lot.

Martin's bond is set at $5,000.
