NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Police are searching for a driver who crashed his vehicle crashed into a hotel and took off overnight.

The driver did not stop as he came off the Smith Edwards Road ramp from northbound Interstate 71 about 1:30 a.m., Norwood police said.

He crashed into the Courtyard Cincinnati Midtown/Rookwood on Edwards Road and ran off.

"It looks like he came off the exit ramp, missed the red light and came into the aluminum glass store front. It did a lot of glass and fixture damage, but there is no structural damage. Only one or two guests heard the incident, so everything's fine," said Todd Smith, president of Lexington Management Co., which operates the 123-room, four-story hotel that opened in July 2013.

No injuries were reported. The driver remains at large.

The hotel was still open early Thursday.

"We are just busy cleaning up and getting ready for breakfast time," Smith said.
