A woman is accused of being drunk when she picked up her young daughter at a child daycare facility and drove off.

Courtenay E. Ryan is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail. She faces charges of endangering children, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and being more than twice the legal limit to drive.

According to court records, witnesses told Sharonville police on Monday Ryan drove recklessly and weaved out of her lane before pulling over at a daycare on southbound Chester Road at East Sharon Road. Police identified the facility as Sharon Hill Daycare & Preschool, 11550 Chester Rd.

Police said Ryan went inside, emerged with her 7-year-old girl, put her in the car and drove off.

A police sergeant arrived as Ryan pulled out. He said he saw her making more lane violations and pulled her vehicle over.

She was arrested a short time later after police said she failed a field sobriety test. According to her traffic ticket, she blew .18, which is more than twice the legal limit of .08 to drive in Ohio.

The child was turned over to Ryan's mother, police said.
