Four inmates charged in jail cell attack

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Four Hamilton County inmates face charges in a jail cell attack Wednesday.

Dominique Bishop, 19, Mike Collins, 36, Joshua Maull, 20 and Markell Peoples, 20, were all charged with assault. They are scheduled to face a judge at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to court records, the inmates went into the cell of inmate Torre Johnson, 39, and beat him so badly, he required treatment in the emergency room at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

They also are accused of threatening to kill Johnson if he talked.

All of the inmates have extensive criminal records.
