Pedestrian, 17, killed in Butler County

Two people died in two separate accidents in Butler County early Friday.

A 17-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed just before 6 a.m. on eastbound Ohio 122 near Ohio 4, according to the Ohio Highway State Patrol's Lebanon post.

An eastbound 2013 Hyundai struck William "Brandon" Sheek II of Middletown, as he crossed the four-lane highway outside the designated crosswalk.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Hyundai, Lisa Manning, 45, of Trenton, was taken to Atrium Hospital but was not seriously injured.

Then, four cars collided on Ohio 128 near Morgan Lane in Ross Township about 6:30 a.m., according to the Butler County Sheriff's Office.

Injuries were reported, and AirCare responded. The Butler County Coroner's Office said Clifton Musser, 50, died from his injuries. 

Other victims were taken to area hospitals.
