Mason officials are hiring a trapper to catch and relocate a beaver who has been troubling the community trees.
Police confirmed to FOX19 NOW Sunday that the beaver has taken down three trees and have gnawed on at least 50-plus other trees.
Officials say that it's a health and safety risk to people. There is also concern over the beavers making dams and causing damaging water backups.
At this time, Mason Police don't know how much they are paying the trapper or who the person is.
