Man sets woman's house on fire because she rejected him on Facebook

FRANKFORT, KY (AP) -

A Kentucky man who is indicted for setting a woman's house on fire did so because she rejected him on Facebook.

According to WLEX18, the incident began when James Graham added Joanie Yount on Facebook. Graham began commenting on Yount's pictures, leading to Yount telling him to stay off her Facebook. Police say Graham was upset enough that he started a fire in her home.

Graham is facing charges of arson.

Yount and her three-year-old son were not in the house at the time of the fire.

Police say Graham was their suspect through 'collective evidence.'

In an interview with WLEX18, Yount says Graham was not quiet about his acts.

"He was walking around bragging about it and saying he wouldn't have to pay the price," Yount said.

Yount has a gofundme page to help get her and her son back on her feet.
