Green, Huber selected to the Pro Bowl

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Bengals will have two players representing the team in Glendale, Ariz. for the Pro Bowl next month.

Wide Receiver A.J. Green and Punter Kevin Huber have been selected to participate in the game.

This will be Green's fourth Pro Bowl. He leads he team in receptions (61), receiving yards (959) and receiving touchdowns (six) despite having missing significant time due to injury. Green has produced five 100-yard games, and set a career-high for catches in a game Nov. 23 at Houston with 12.

"It's a great honor for both our guys, and kind of contrasting situations," Head Coach Marvin Marvin Lewis said. "A.J. does not quite have the numbers he had the last few seasons, but the voters know he's missed time with injuries and has not been quite 100 percent at other times."

This will be Huber's first Pro Bowl appearance. Through 15 games this season, Huber ranks fifth in the NFL in gross punting average (46.7), and fourth in net punting (43.0).

"For Kevin, it's an honor well deserved and maybe just a little late in coming. He has been outstanding for us for several years," Lewis said.

The Pro Bowl will take place Jan. 25 at 8:30 p.m.
