Suspects charged in Spring Grove Village triple shooting

SPRING GROVE VILLAGE (FOX19) -

Two men faced a judge Monday after a weekend triple shooting that stemmed from a $3 shortage at a convenience store, police say.

According to police, three people were shot in the 4600 block of Edgewood Avenue around 2 p.m.

All were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

One of them, Ras Tafari, 27, admitted to shooting two of the victims. 

The other suspect, Denico Ellison, 23. told police he shot Tafari.

Both men face charges of felonious assault and are being held on $100,000 bond.
