ST. BERNARD, OH (FOX19) -

A woman who was texting while driving lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a cemetery early Monday, police said.

The driver was not hurt when her car ran off the 1400 block of Vine Street about 3 a.m., said St. Bernard police Lt. Bill Ungruhe.

But the vehicle struck a gate and then flipped, landing on its top on a cemetery plot at Saint Johns German Catholic Cemetery, 4423 Vine St.

She was trapped inside her car but only suffered minor cuts.

Police suspect alcohol is a factor in the crash. The woman told officers she had just left a party.

No charges have been filed while police continue to investigate.
