Juvenile stabbed in head trying to protect woman from attack

WINTON HILLS, OH (FOX19) -

 A juvenile was stabbed in the head trying to protect a woman a weekend attack, Cincinnati police said.

Alan Finch, 33, was arrested and charged with three counts of felonious assault just before 1 a.m. Friday after the victim was found in the 4800 block of Winneste Avenue in Winton Hills.

He remains at the Hamilton County jail in lieu of $30,000 bond.

The victim told police the suspect stabbed him in the head with a steak knife when he tried to protect Finch's girlfriend as the couple argued and Finch came at her with the knife.

Finch also is accused of trying to stab a third victim as she stood in the doorway.

The case goes to a grand jury for possible indictment Jan. 5.
