NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Police accuse a local mother of falling asleep and leaving drug needles and pipes near her child in a "flophouse."

Angela Rauen was arrested Tuesday after Norwood police say they found her child near several crack pipes and three uncapped syringes inside an apartment in the 1900 block of Courtland Avenue.

One of the needles was on the floor, and a second was on a bed.

She is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail on charges of child endangering and possessing drug abuse instruments.

She is scheduled to face a judge at 9 a.m.
