Cincinnati Police Department is searching for suspects that committed several robberies near the University of Cincinnati on Tuesday.
Police say two robberies occurred in the 2300 block of Ohio Avenue. In both incidents police say the suspects approached an University of Cincinnati student, who was walking alone, displayed a silver handgun and took a cell phone and wallet.
In the 300 block of Joeslin Street and 500 block of Riddle Road the suspects approached the victims and demanded valuables according to police. In both incidents a wallet and cell phone were taken.
The suspects are described as black males in their early 20's with slender builds wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and dark jeans.
