Three men in their early 20s were hurt in an assault and shooting outside a Kellogg Avenue nightclub early Thursday, Cincinnati police said.
The victims were taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and are expected to recover, said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.
Two of the men were assaulted in a "melee" involving about a dozen people just outside the front door about of Cameo Night Club, 4601 Kellogg Ave., about 3:20 a.m., Brown said.
Then, a 21-year-old man told police he was walking by when someone involved in the fight fired 3 to 4 shots, striking him in the foot.
The incident remains under investigation.
