Police have identified the man killed in a car crash on East Miami Road in Colerain Township Wednesday night.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. the night of New Year's Eve in the 9700 block of East Miami River Road.
When officers arrived, they found that a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado truck had gone off the road and hit a tree.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Dan Powers, 52, of Harrison, was trapped in the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash. The accident is under investigation by the Colerain Police Department Traffic Safety Unit.
