Kentucky State Police investigate crash leaving one dead, two injured in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY, KY (FOX19) - Kentucky State Police are investigating an accident that left one dead and two injured in Corinth Friday morning.

Police say 38-year-old Amy Lemons, of Sadieville, Ky, was traveling westbound on Owenton Road in a 1998 Dodge Durango when she lost control of the vehicle on the slick roadway.  She then crossed into the eastbound lane in the path of a 51-year-old Rodney Milner, of Berry, Ky, who was driving a 2003 Dodge 3500 pick up truck.

According to officials, Lemons' passenger, 42-year-old Jeffery Adams, of Sadieville, Ky, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Grant County Coroner.

Kentucky State Police say Lemons was transported to University of Kentucky Medical Center for her injuries and Milner was transported to St. Elizabeth Edgewood for his injuries. Their condition is unknown at this time.

The fatal collision is under investigation by Trooper Grian Guilfoyle.

Grant County EMS and Corinth Fire Department assisted at the scene of the accident.
