Benefit raffle for high school girl injured in explosion

RIPLEY, OH (FOX19) -

Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington High School is hosting a quarter raffle to benefit an injured student.

Kilee Brookbank was critically injured in an explosion at her Georgetown home in November. Kilee is currently a patient at Shriners Hospital, and is on her road to recovery.

From 1-4 p.m. Sunday, a quarter auction will take place benefiting the "Friends of Kilee Brookbank" account set up by the Ripley Federal Savings Bank.

Bidders will have a chance to win prizes such as, Cincinnati Reds tickets, gift cards and favorite home party consultants. People are encouraged to bring a lot of quarters and small bills.

Mercy Health-Georgetown Family Medicine has agreed to match up to $10,000 in donations.
