BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) -

A police chase that started in Norwood Sunday evening ended with a car into a corner of a brick home in Bond Hill.

Police say they were chasing a stolen car when the car crashed into the corner of the home in the 1700 block of Lawn Avenue at around 8 p.m.

The car got wedged and the suspect fled the scene, police said.

According to officials, a K-9 unit was sent out to find the suspect but the units were unsuccessful.

"You know what I've been living here almost 6 or 7 years now and I was always wondering when somebody comes around that corner, they fly down the street and I knew sooner or later that house was going to get hit,” said Ronald Casey, a neighbor.

No further information has been released.
