West Chester PD identify suspect in Monday homicide, still at large

WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) -

West Chester Police Department has identified the a suspect in the homicide of Anthony Lamount Elliot.

Police say Morris Hodge Jr. is being charged with murder. Hodge is still at large and is considered armed and dangerous.

Elliot was gunned down in the 5100 block of Aster Drive around 5 p.m. Monday evening. Hodge was seen running from the scene by witnesses. Police have not released a motive in the shooting, but police believe the shooting was not a random act.

Hodge is a 27-year-old black male from Cincinnati. He is six-feet-five and weighs 275 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding Hodge's whereabouts should call 9-1-1 or the West Chester Police Crime Tip Line at 513-759-7272. Police say not to approach Hodge.
