WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) -

A Butler County company is helping Great American Ball Park get ready for the All-Star Game this summer.

Borke Mold Specialists in West Chester is working to create thousands of new seats so Great American is ready for its national audience in July.

The company has already completed the mold for one set of seats and is now working on the next set. They were selected as Hamilton County faced costs as high as $5 million to help upgrade the stadium.

The company is part of a do-it-yourself plan formed by the county to help taxpayers save money.

Borke is making the molds, a Toledo company is making the replacement seats, and former jail inmates and other employees will be paid about $10 an hour to install them at the stadium. With this plan. the county will spend about $1.3 million.

Some of the seats are already in place and the county is saying they are stronger and better looking.

Everything should be in place for the July 14 All-Star game, which you can see on Fox19 Now.
