More than 500 Tri-State residents are cashing in on Ohio State's National Championship Title with new furniture.

Select Ashley Furniture HomeStores and Better Sleep Shops in Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton and Florence, Ky., offered customers who made purchases of $1,999 or more between Dec. 17 and Dec. 30 a special rebate.

If Ohio State beat Alabama in the College Football Playoff then won the National Championship against Oregon by at least seven points, that rebate would cover the entire cost of their furniture.

Ohio State beat Oregon 42-20 Monday and now the company will owe customers a total of $1.5 million in furniture. According to the parent company, Morris Home Furniture, Vice President of Marketing, Rob Klaben, “A third party underwrote the promotion.”

Customers who qualified for the rebate will be eligible to claim it between Feb.1 and April 30 after completing an “Official Big Game Rebate Claim Form” at the Morris Home Furnishings or Ashley Furniture HomeStore where the customer completed the purchase.

Customers must present the original sales receipt and a government issued photo ID matching the name on the sales receipt at the store and will receive their rebate payment or credit card credit by mail after filing the rebate claim.
