Cincinnati Police investigate convenience store robbery

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Police are investigating a robbery at a convenience store Tuesday evening.

Police say the robbery occurred at around 7:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Jefferson Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male, six foot tall, weighs 170 pounds and approximately 20 to 30 years-old.

Authorities say the suspect was wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan boots when he robbed the Cincy Deli and Ice store at gunpoint.

During the robbery, a wallet belonging to a University of Cincinnati student, who was in the store at the time of the robbery, was taken during the incident, police said.
