Customer's video of tip incident backfires; internet defends delivery driver

The internet is coming to the defense of a Massachusetts pizza delivery driver who was verbally harassed while dropping off an order at a car dealership.

Staff at the car dealership posted the video of the interaction after they made the driver return to give back their tip.

The bill was $42 and the staff paid in two twenties and two fives, according to reports which also claim the driver confirmed with the staff that remaining change was his to keep.

'I'm not mad, I just had to waste my resources coming back here,' the driver says to the angry customers.

People online are coming to the driver's defense while condemning the car dealership for their behavior after several social media sites picked up the video. Comments on the dealership's Facebook led them to contact authorities about harassment, BuzzFeed reports.

Meanwhile, the manager of the dealership went to the pizza joint and personally apologized, outlets indicate.
