GREEN TOWNSHIP, HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) – - A Green Township man was arrested on Wednesday after FBI officials claim he was plotting to bomb the U.S. Capitol building.

Christopher Cornell, 20, is accused of scheming with a confidential informant to build and detonate pipe bombs at or near the U.S. Capitol, and then shoot employees inside the federal building, the FBI's Cincinnati office announced.

Police issued a search warrant and went to his home Wednesday and took four laptops, four cell phones, 2 USB flash drives, a book titled "Beginners Book of Islam," which had names and phone numbers inside and a Xbox 360.

According to the search warrant receipt obtained by FOX19 NOW, police also took a camera, one note card with a handwritten note on it, a note card and paper that had names and numbers on it, a VHS tape and CD's in cases.
