CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A man was arrested and charged Thursday with the shooting death of 14-year-old Jashawn Martin.

Officials say on March 21 of last year, at around 4 p.m., District 4 police officers responded to investigate a report of a shooting with multiple victims at 600 William Howard Taft.

According to a release, first responders located four victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Three victims were transported to University Hospital and a fourth victim was transported to Children's Hospital, police said.

The murder charge for 20-year-old Trashon McCray comes nearly 10 months after Martin was shot on a sidewalk near Reading Road, Essex Place and William Howard Taft. He died on the way to the hospital.

Officials say the three remaining victims sustained nonlife threatening injuries.

According to court documents, McCray “did cause the death of Jashawn Martin by means of a firearm, while committing assault.”

A judge on Friday set McCray's bond at $500,000.
