CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A former Bengals' intern is charged with theft after making $3,500 dollars off of team gear.

Nicholas Brannon, 23, is accused of taking more than 100 items including practice jerseys, gloves, and shoes. Brannon allegedly took the items from the Bengals' locker room and gave them to his friend. His friend then sold the stolen items online.

"He's very sorry for what has happened, he enjoyed his time with the Bengals, and he feels bad this is the way it sort of ended up," William Gallagher, Brannon's attorney said.

Gallagher went on to tell FOX19 NOW that Brannon did not take any game gear.
