The Ohio River is expected to crest in Marietta while the Great Miami rises back up toward flood stage in Miamitown.
Flood warnings are in effect along the Ohio, Great Miami and Scioto rivers. Officials in many cities are warning people in low-lying riverfront areas to prepare to head for higher ground.
Near Marietta, a covered bridge floated away and blocked a road. State crews needed a crane to remove it. The city has been flooded in September and last week, and the Ohio River is expected to crest at least two feet above flood stage tomorrow.
Do not drive your car through flooded roadways. The water depth may be deeper than it appears.
