CAMP WASHINGTON, OH (FOX19) -

Traffic is moving again on both sides of Interstate 75 after an overpass collapse at Hopple Street earlier this week brought both motorists and construction work to a halt.

FOX19 NOW has learned that work operations to remove the remaining section of the Hopple Street bridge resumed on Thursday.

Ohio Department of Transportation officials have not said if there will be any additional lane closures associated with that work.

Initially, all northbound lanes were to be closed from Mitchell Avenue and Norwood Lateral Wednesday through Saturday morning.

Due to the accident that killed a construction worker and hurt a truck driver, crews lost a day of work.

They have since started back up and said full closure will be in effect from 11 pm to 5 am Friday night.

An ODOT spokesperson told FOX19 NOW that drivers should also expect closures next week. Specific days and times haven't yet been released.
