CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The woman who was charged for allegedly lacing a bible with heroin and mailing it to an inmate at the Hamilton County Justice Center was indicted Friday.

Tehani Teepe, 39, was indicted on one count illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and one count possession of heroin.

A single page of the bible contained what Chief Deputy Mark Schoonover called a lethal dose of heroin.

A drug detecting dog first alerted an officer of the package during a standard protocol mail search.
