The City of Cincinnati announced the addition of two new parking meter features on Monday.
Parking meters will now offer a pre-pay option, as well as extended hours at the end of the day for the parking spots.
Drivers will now be able to pay in advance, with the paid hours beginning once meter enforcement is in effect.
Also, customers wishing to park until the end of meter enforcement will be able to pay up to three hours in advance. The normal limit for parking meters is two hours throughout the day.
The city said it plans on adding smart phone technology in the future to the parking meters.
