Work begins Wednesday to install the power system for Cincinnati's streetcar.

Elm Street traffic will be delayed periodically 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. from Twelfth to Henry as crews work up the nearly half-mile stretch from Music Hall to Findlay Market.

Elder Street remains closed between Race Street and Goose Alley through Friday, Feb. 6. That closure started Monday for crews to complete installation of a spur for the project. Race Street also will be reduced to one lane between Henry and Elder.

Elder will be converted temporarily to eastbound and westbound between Vine and Republic to accommodate vehicles.

Local access to Goose Alley will be maintained.
