HEBRON, KY (FOX19) -

A new airline at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport offers flights to Branson, New Orleans and Cancun.

Branson AirExpress will begin flying out of CVG on May 7, the airport announced at a press conference on Wednesday.

A one-way ticket to Branson and New Orleans cost $99. A flight to Cancun is $199, according to a released from CVG.

The new airline will be the 10th carrier to operate out of CVG and the latest in a string of discount offerings at one of the nation's most expensive airports.

Branson's website names Cincinnati as a destination: "Cincinnati has been reborn, making it the perfect destination for meetings, conventions or a family getaway."

Branson AirExpress, which is operated by Orange Air, will fly MD-83 jets out of Cincinnati three times each week: Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

"Branson Air Express operated by Orange Air is another new low fare option for our passengers. Branson, Missouri will become the 57th nonstop destination served from CVG," said Bill Robinson III, Kenton County Airport Board Chairman.
