A Butler County grand jury indicted the man who is accused of murdering a 20-year-old Middletown woman in December of last year.

The body of De'Asia Sims was found on Dec. 14 of last year near an entrance to the Bolton Water Works Plant off Lick Road.

Police had issued an arrest warrant for Juwan Hawkins, 19, in connection to the murder. Police say Hawkins and Sims were involved in a personal relationship.

Hawkins, 19, was indicted for aggravated murder, grand theft, attempted grand theft, tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property.
