Recipe: Morton's mini cheeseburgers

These savory, cheesy mini-cheeseburgers are the perfect appetizer to dish up on Super Bowl Sunday. Yields 13 servings. Courtesy Chef Mark Deaton of Morton's The Steakhouse in Downtown Cincinnati.

Ground beef 2 pounds

Eggs 1 oz.

Tomato juice 3 oz.

Salt ½ TBL

Ground Pepper ½ tsp

Salad oil 2 TBL

Suggested Toppings:

Cheddar cheese, sharp

Roma tomatoes

Purple onion

Iceburg lettuce

Break up ground beef in a bowl and add eggs, tomato juice, salt and pepper. Mix ingredients thoroughly.

Place burger patties (by preferred size) on lightly oiled sheet pan.

On the grill, put to medium heat and cook each side for 7 minutes or until desired temperature.

Add preferred toppings
