Garage Shooting

Man facing charges in Tennessee garage siege

A Jackson, Tennessee, man is being held for allegedly carrying out a bloody attack at the Tennessee Department of Transportation maintenance garage. Police say homicide and attempted homicide charges are expected to be filed against 40-year-old David Jordan. Three people were killed in the rampage, including Jordan's estranged wife. Two other people were wounded. Police say Jordan walked into the garage yesterday and opened fire on his wife, then shot a delivery man and a forestry employee whose vehicle was undergoing maintenance. Officials say Jordan was armed with an assault rifle, a 12-gauge pump shotgun and two semiautomatic pistols. Two other men, Transportation Department employees, suffered non-life threatening wounds. Jordan's estranged wife leaves two children and two stepchildren.
