Lawrenceburg liquor store robbed at gunpoint

LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19) -

Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Lawrenceburg liquor store at gunpoint Saturday night.

According to officials, a man robbed the Whitey's Liquor store in the 1100 block of West Eads Parkway at 9:17 p.m. The suspect allegedly produced a gun and took money, cigarettes and tequila. The cashier's cell phone was also taken, and the store's phone lines were cut.

Police say the man was wearing a black hoodie and a white mask at the time of the robbery.

No one was hurt in the incident.
