East Carolina comes back to beat the Bearcats

The University of Cincinnati Bearcats missed their last four shots in regulation against East Carolina University (9-12, 2-6 American) and fell to the pirates 46-50. 

ECU finished the game on an 11-0 run.

The Bearcats were 16-of-45 from field goal range and 3-of-18 from the three-point line.  

Octavius Ellis had his first career double-double in Division 1 with 14 points and a career-high 14 rebounds for the Bearcats. He added three blocks, two assists and one steal.

Farad Cobb was the only other Bearcat with double-digits having 13 points.

ECU's B.J. Tyson had 18 points for the Pirates.

The Bearcats play at Southern Methodist University Thursday at 9 p.m.
