BOONE CO., KY (FOX19) -

A Grand Jury indicted a Dayton, Ky. man Tuesday after being accused of a series of burglaries in northern Kentucky.

Robert Green, 30, is accused of breaking into four homes in four days, between Jan. 10-14.

Green was arrested on Jan. 15, accused of one of the four burglaries. According to police, evidence from that case led detectives to tie Green to the three other offenses.

Police say Green was breaking into the homes to support a heroin habit.

Three of the burglaries occurred in Hebron, Ky. and one in Burlington, Ky.

Green is charged with a total of 12 counts including Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Theft by unlawful taking.
