Police search for suspects after car crashes into Avondale church fence

AVONDALE, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati police are looking for several suspects who ran after a stolen car hit a church fence in Avondale Saturday afternoon.

Authorities say they responded to a report of a shots fired in the 3500 block of Reading Road at around 2:45 p.m.

Police say the suspects fired on a person nearby and fled the scene. That person was not hit.

When officials arrived, they found an abandoned car that had crashed into an iron fence in front of the Carmel Presbyterian Church, police said. 

Authorities say they are searching for the suspects. No word on a description of those suspects.
