Bonds set at $500K for Westwood homicide suspects

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Bond was set at $500,000 each Thursday for two teenage suspects charged with murder in the death of Gerald Hummer.

Aubre Weathersby, 19, and Shawn Allen, 19, were arrested by the Cincinnati Fugitive Apprehension Unit on Wednesday.

Last Sunday, Hummer, 20, was found dead in a truck in the 3600 block of Schwartze Ave. in Westwood.

A preliminary examination of the body revealed Hummer died as a result of homicidal violence, according to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office. Authorities have not released further details of the case.


Weathersby and Allen are currently being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
