Ohio University pays $350,000 to settle photography case
Ohio University has agreed to pay 350-thousand dollars to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit involving a photojournalism professor.
Former student Becky Humes of Youngstown claimed in the suit that professor Larry Nighswander coerced her into posing topless.
Before his resignation last year, Nighswander directed the university's nationally ranked School of Visual Communication. A university investigation cleared Nighswander of sexual harassment but he was forced to resign. He says the agreement doesn't include any admission of wrongdoing.
