SUV flees scene after seriously injuring 16-year-old Saturday

NORTH FAIRMOUNT, OH (FOX19) -
Cincinnati Police are investigating a hit-skip traffic incident that left one teenage boy seriously injured.
It happened on Carll Street near Linden Street in North Fairmount at 1:10 p.m. Saturday.
A 16-year-old was dribbling a basketball while walking in the street. He lost control of the ball and when going to pick it up, a vehicle struck him. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to Children's Hospital Medical Center by the Cincinnati Fire Department.
The vehicle fled the scene and police are still looking for a suspect. Witnesses say that the vehicle was a silver SUV with front end damage.
Police believe speed was not a factor in the accident.
