10th annual 'Fight for Air Climb' combats lung disease

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The 10th annual 'Fight for Air Climb' took place inside the Carew Tower on Sunday.

Participants climbed the 45 flights (804 steps) to reach the top of the iconic tower in an effort to help end lung disease.

The climb is the largest fundraising event for the American Lung Association.

“I will never forget the gratitude that those who are affected by lung disease express toward the work the event is doing,” said event manager Elizabeth Kelly.

Climbers were required to pay a $35 registration fee and raise a minimum $100 in donations.
