Two small children were taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center with minor injuries after a crash involving a semi tractor-trailer on southbound Interstate 71/75 early Monday.
The children, 2 and 3, are expected to recover, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.
They were riding in a 2000 Ford F-150 pickup truck when the driver lost control while trying to pass the semi and hit the vehicle about 2:30 a.m. just before the Richwood exit.
No other injuries were reported.
The children were strapped into the proper safety seats, and all the adults wore seat belts.
No citations were issued.
The crash cleared by 3:30 a.m.
