Bethel PD asks for help identifying bank robbery suspect

BETHEL, OH (FOX19) -

The Bethel Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect in a bank robbery last week.

Last Wednesday, Feb. 11, dispatchers received a called around 1 p.m. for a robbery at the Key Bank on West Plane Street in Bethel.

The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money in a gray Wal-Mart grocery bag.

Police said the suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25 to 35-years old, and six-feet-tall.

During the incident the suspect was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with 'Hollister' on the left side, blue jeans and dark colored gym shoes.

No bank employees were injured during the robbery.
