CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A Springfield Township man appeared in court after being on the run since November when he allegedly attacked and kidnapped a woman.

Joshua Howard, 26, was charged with two counts of felonious assault, one count of kidnapping and one count aggravated robbery. His bond was set at $550,000.

Officials say they responded to the 1200 block of Clay Street for a report of a carjacking on Nov. 29.  When officers arrived, they learned that the woman was abducted during the incident.

According to the affidavit, Howard pointed a gun at a car carrying 27-year-old Natasha Compton and her friends, ordering them to open the door. Compton's friends took off running and told police they heard two gunshots from the scene.
