Hundreds of full-time positions are set to be created in Butler County, Governor John Kasich announced on Monday.

The city of Hamilton will be home to Starteck, Inc., a call center that will employ 682 people.

Kasich and the Ohio Tax Credit Authority announced several job creation projects around Ohio that were approved for a Job Creation Tax Credit.

Aprecia Pharmaceuticals Company will open a new location in Blue Ash, bringing 150 full-time positions to the area.

In Mason, Mitsubishi expects to create 100 full-time positions as part of an expansion project and retain $19.7 million in its existing payroll.

Mattress manufacturer SSB will create more than 100 full-time jobs at their new location in Monoe.

The total of 13 projects across Ohio that were approved by the tax credit authority will create 1,401 jobs and retain 1,470 statewide.
