MOUNT HEALTHY, OH (FOX19) -
A Hamilton County judge on Wednesday set bond at $35,000 for the suspect in a stabbing at a Hamilton Avenue bar earlier this week.
Lozenzo Connor, 27, is charged with one count of felonious assault in the attack of a 37-year-old man late Monday at Vince's Other Place, Mt. Healthy police said.
As officers swarmed the crime scene, one of them said he saw a man running through an alley next to the bar. The man refused commands to stop until the officer pulled out his Taser stun gun. Then, Connor is accused of reaching into his far left pocket and throwing a knife away.
The victim, identified in court records as Scott A. Monday, was taken in an ambulance to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he underwent surgery. His condition was not released.
Court records indicate the two men fought inside the bar and Connor slapped Monday's girlfriend before the stabbing.
