School bus accident sends three to hospital, including one student

SALEM TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A school bus involved accident has sent three people to the hospital, including one student in Warren County on Wednesday.

The accident occurred on State Route 22 and Middleboro Road around 4:15 p.m. in Salem Township.

Police said the school bus was stopped on U.S. 22 at an intersection when the driver of a Honda Ridgeline failed to stop, rear-ending the school bus. The driver of the Ridgeline, Mark Brashear of Loveland, was transported by AirCare to the Miami Valley Medical Center. The bus driver in the incident, Carla Eskridge, was also transported to Arrow Springs Hospital.

Little Miami School District has confirmed one student was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The rest of the 18 students, ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade, are headed home safely according to the school's twitter page.
